Challenge
There are not many boba places in Oklahoma with high-quality boba tea. The majority of places use syrups and powders in order to produce teas quicker but it diminishes the quality of tea and boba greatly. Many people will travel out of state in order to obtain good quality boba tea. The goal is to create a boba shop brand that stands out from others in Oklahoma.
Solution
Ba Cha is a boba shop that focuses on a select few drinks but does them extremely well. The quality of boba and tea is emphasized by limiting the number of options available. The drinks selection has classics as well as unique flavors that are not normally seen in other shops. Ba Cha strives to be cultural, modern, and bold while also being authentic, youthful, and friendly.

The icon is a plum blossom, a flower that is known to bring fortune. It originates in China but is now a part of many different Asian cultures. Many view this flower as a symbol of luck.
“Ba Cha” translates to “8 Teas” in Chinese. This is a pun and homage to when boba tea came to be in the 1980s. The number 8 is considered to be lucky in many Asian cultures.
